Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on the 15th of September 1915 was a native of Ogden Utah. Born into the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant creative writing skills and impressive researching skills in the creation of an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled No Man knows My History. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. You have never known my feelings." My story is not known to anyone. There is no way for me to reveal it. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn at the time: Ever since the moment when he spoke, about three dozen writers have taken up the battle. These documents are not lacking however they contradict each with respect to each other. It is a daunting task to put together these documents--of sifting first-hand account from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon accounts to create a picture that is plausible the history. It is fascinating and informative. It's a task which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Her writings and research brought her fame around all over the globe: Thaddeus Stephens. The Scourge of Southern (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. An intimate Historiography (1974) and later posthumously Richard Nixon.
