Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. His father was an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English descent. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a household with six kids. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region in London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
